Creativity by the Coast

A Space Where Art Meets Community
Founded by local artist Rhonda Murray, Kiama Art Workshops was created to bring people and art together in a warm and friendly environment. Since July 2023, Rhonda has passed the brush to Olivia (Liv) Deans, a passionate local artist and oil painter who has continued to nurture and grow the creative community through thoughtfully run, inclusive workshops.
Liv’s vision remains grounded in the original mission — to make art accessible to everyone and provide a supportive space where people of all backgrounds, ages, and skill levels can explore creativity together.
Led by Passionate Local Artists
Liv brings a unique combination of skills to Kiama Art Workshops. As an Art Therapist, Primary School Teacher, and practicing artist, she blends her love of visual arts with a deep understanding of how creativity supports mental health, confidence, and personal growth. Liv has years of experience running painting and drawing classes for people of all abilities, including those with disabilities, and her gentle, encouraging approach helps students find joy and freedom in artistic expression.
She specialises in oil painting and draws inspiration from the natural beauty of the South Coast. Liv’s work has been exhibited in local shops, commissioned for custom paintings, and even featured as murals in cafés and private homes across the region.
