On Saturday 4 October 2025, from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm, join wild weaver Sharon Bartle for a hands-on fibre art workshop at the Joyce Wheatley Community Centre, Kiama – just two hours south of Sydney.
This immersive creative day will guide you through the expressive world of mixed media art, combining fibres, handmade papers, natural materials, and beads to create a one-of-a-kind artwork that reflects your memories, personal journey, or creative voice.
All skill levels are welcome – no prior experience needed, just curiosity and a willingness to explore textures, colour, and form. You’re welcome to bring along any personal fabrics, beads, or wool you’d love to incorporate into your piece.
All materials are provided, along with light refreshments and snacks. Bring a packed lunch or enjoy one of Kiama’s charming cafés during the break.
