About the event

Discover a unique hands-on experience in Kiama with our Handmade Recycled Paper Workshop led by South Coast artist Stacey Burgess. Over 2.5 hours, you’ll learn how to transform recycled paper pulp into beautiful sheets of handmade paper using natural dyes, paints, inks, and found materials.

Experiment with colours, abstract mark-making, and add your own special touches with seeds, petals, or leaves. You’ll create a collection of unique, hand-decorated papers to take home — perfect for art projects, cards, or keepsakes.

This workshop is ideal for adults and children aged 8+, making it a great activity for families, friends, or solo creatives looking for an inspiring day out in Kiama. Small group sizes (max 8 participants) ensure plenty of guidance and a relaxed, social atmosphere.
